Alex G. Streett P.A. Partner of Streett Law firm

Alex G. Streett was the founder of the Streett Law Firm, P.A. where he protected the rights of Arkansans for almost 55 years. A native of Camden, Arkansas, Alex performed his undergraduate studies at both Henderson University and the University of Arkansas, while also serving in the United States Army. Following the completion of his military service and undergraduate work, Alex received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1965.

Alex began his law career by serving as a law clerk for Associate Justice Paul Ward of the Arkansas Supreme Court in 1965. He was then elected by the people of the River Valley to serve as a prosecuting attorney for the 5th judicial district from 1971 to 1982, which at that time encompassed Pope, Johnson, Yell, Conway, and Faulkner counties.

After the conclusion of his final term as prosecuting attorney, Alex went into private practice in Russellville, Arkansas, with a practice dedicated to protecting the criminal and civil rights of Arkansans. During his over five decades of legal service to the state of Arkansas, he twice served as a Special Justice on the Arkansas Supreme Court; was involved in thousands of criminal trials representing both the rights of the injured and defending those of the accused; and recovered millions of dollars for countless Arkansas individuals and businesses who had been injured or wronged. Alex was survived at his passing by his wife Sue Heidgen Streett and his five grown children, three of whom are also lawyers, including his son James Streett who is the current senior attorney at the Streett Law Firm.
